Matt Hirschman Takes First Career Islip 300 Victory At Riverhead Raceway Saturday Night
Information By: RIVERHEAD RACEWAY – RIVERHEAD, NY – Of the notable races Matt Hirschman has won during the prestigious career, he had yet to take home a checkered flag in the Islip 300 at Riverhead Raceway.
That changed Saturday night.
Hirschman made his formal debut in the Islip 300 last year, when he scored a solid third-place finish behind winner Anthony Nocella.
This year, he dominated to take the victory with Mark Stewart coming home second and Timmy Solomito completing the podium in third.
