Story By: RISE MOTORSPORTS – DENVER, NC – New York racer Garrett Zacharias will be piloting the Rise Motorsports #31 Chevrolet in his debut ARCA race at the Phoenix Raceway.
Garrett started his racing career in 2009 at the age of five driving a Microd which is an entry level racecar that teaches young drivers racing etiquette.
2015 was the start of a new challenge for Garrett as he moved up to Bandoleros where he raced those cars for four years at many tracks in New York and Pensylvania.
In 2019, he transitioned to large, full body Super Stock. He is sill racing in those cars today and is the youngest winner in that division at many different tracks!
In 2022, Garrett started to try his hand in a couple of different types of cars and divisions. He made a start at the Florence Motor Speedway in a Pro Late Model where he started the event 20th and finished a very Impressive 6th.
2023 proved to be the most diverse year to date starting off with running the ARCA test at the world famous Daytona International Speedway which resulted in Garrett receiving his ARCA license.
The racing season was made up of racing in his Super Stock, running the Race Of Champion tours for Pro Late Models and branching off onto the dirt side of things, running a 602 Dirt Crate Sportsman resulting in multiple wins.
We’re thrilled to welcome Garrett onboard as Rise Motorsports attempts to race all 20 National Series races! We expect great things from Garrett as he progresses in his racing career!
Garrett’s sponsors will be announced at a later date.
We’d also like to thank our spotter, Rick Goodale for volunteering to tow the race car all the way to Phoenix, as this wouldn’t even be possible without his help!
You can follow along with Rise Motorsports and watch the race live on Friday, March 8th at 8pm ET on FS1 or streaming on the Fox Sports App
