Layne Riggs To Drive Second NASCAR Truck For Halmar Friesen Racing At IRP & Richmond

Story By: CHAD OFIARA / HALMAR FRIESEN RACING – STATESVILLE, NC – Halmar Friesen Racing (HFR) announced today that NASCAR Late Model Stock Car Series and CARS Tour driver Layne Riggs will team up with Stewart Friesen to drive the #62 HFR Toyota Tundra for two races in the 2022 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.
Layne Riggs currently has 11 Asphalt Late Model wins in 2022 and is the points leader in the highly competitive NASCAR Advance Auto Weekly Series National Championship.
Infinity Communications Group, with national headquarters in Durham, NC, and Puryear Tank Lines, headquartered in Apex, NC, have come on board as Layne’s partners for the July 29th race in Indianapolis.
Layne Riggs said, “I have been racing competitively and successfully since I was ten. After nine years of earning my spurs on the CARS® Tour and six years in the NASCAR® Late Model Stock Car Series, I am confident that I am ready for the next step in my racing career.”
