Story By: CHAD OFIARA / HALMAR FRIESEN RACING – STATESVILLE, NC – The Halmar Friesen Racing team with driver Stewart Friesen enters Charlotte fourth in the NASCAR Truck Series Championship standings and locked into the playoffs following last week’s win in Texas.
This week, Charlotte Motor Speedway is cranking up the lights for Friday night’s series race, the North Carolina Education Lottery 200, at 8:30 p.m. ET on FS1, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
“Following our win at Texas last week we’re coming into Charlotte with winning momentum and a brand new HFR Tundra Pro that we’ve been looking forward to bringing out all year,” Friesen said. “With our prior top 5’s and top 10’s at Charlotte we’re going to give it everything we’ve got to get the win. We’re already locked into the playoffs and now it’s time to continue to show what our team is capable of.”
The 10th race of the 2022 Camping World Truck Series season kicks off a Memorial Day Weekend celebration at Charlotte Motor Speedway that is set to pay tribute to those that serve and honor those that have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
This weekend, all the on-track activities will start with NASCAR Camping World Truck Series practice from 1:30-2 p.m. ET, directly followed by Cometic Gaskets Pole Qualifying at 2 p.m. ET (both on FS1).
The Halmar 52 team will work out of pit stall 6 for the race near the turn 4 entrance to pit road.
