Information By: HALMAR FRIESEN RACING – LANCASTER, SC – Thursday afternoon, Halmar Friesen Racing NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver Stewart Friesen completed a NASCAR Cup Series Next Gen Goodyear dirt tire test at Lancaster Motor Speedway in Lancaster, SC.
The test was set up to help determine a tire for the Bristol Motor Speedway dirt race on April 17th.
Friesen has extensive experience on dirt surfaces as he runs both his Dirt Modified and Dirt Late Model in addition to his time on the Camping World Truck Series.
“Pretty cool day today,” Friesen said. “I got to test the Next Gen car while some of the best guys in the industry took notes. Thanks to the guys and gals at Richard Childress Racing and NASCAR. It was damn awesome to spend some time close to that number 3.”
