Story By: RACE OF CHAMPIONS – NORTH EAST, PA – In addition to three days of racing that make up the Race of Champions FOAR Score Four Cylinder Dash Series “Triple Challenge” at Lake Erie Speedway in North East, Pa., the FOAR Score Fan Club will award driver’s several bonuses.
Dash Series drvier’s will participate on Friday, Saturday and Sunday as part of Presque Isle Downs & Casino Race of Champions weekend and as part of the final race on Sunday, the FOAR Score Fan Club will pay the following bonuses; 4th place on lap 4 will receive $44; 4th place on lap 14 will receive $44 and the cars finishing the last four (4) positions after taking the green flag for the feature will each receive $44.
The Friends of Auto-Racing Seeking Cooperation of Racing Enthusiasts (FOAR SCORE) is a non-profit organization that is the oldest auto-racing fan club in the United States. The club was formed in 1948 by race fans for the betterment of local auto-racing. The club attempts to help the sport of auto-racing in any way possible and their purpose is for the betterment of automobile racing for fans, drivers, car owners and promoters. The club has served to help in many fashions during its existence including donations to those in need, point-fund contributions and increasing the popularity and notoriety of the sport of auto-racing.

In addition to the purses and bonus awards, one competitor will receive “the Best Appearing Car” award from long-time FOAR Score Four Cylinder Dash Series supporter, D.C. and H. Consulting in Williamsville, New York. The “Best Appearing Award” will be presented on Sunday and voted on by a selected group of participants in the division.
