Late Race Pass Puts Mike Christopher Jr. & Tommy Baldwin In Thompson Speedway Victory Lane

Information By: THOMPSON SPEEDWAY MOTORSPORTS PARK – THOMPSON, CT – Mike Christopher Jr. wrapped up night two of the Sunoco World Series at the Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park in victory lane.

Christopher took the victory in the Budweiser Modified Open after making a late race pass on Chase Dowling for the lead on lap 66 and went on to score the win. Dowling finished a disappointing second with Keith Rocco coming home third.

Woody Pitkat took home the big money in the 50-lap ACT-style Late Model race while Bobby Timmons grabbed checkers in the 350 Supers.

John Zync won the 25-lap NEMA Midget feature and Doug Meservey Jr. parks his Pro 4 Modified in the winner’s circle as well.

Ryan Vanasse won the Pro Truck Series race with Desmond Skillings being victorious in the North East Mini Stock Tour race.
