Story By: HALMAR FRIESEN RACING – STATESVILLE, NC – Stewart Friesen is set to get back to NASCAR Truck Series action when he straps into his Halmar Friesen Racing #52 Friday at the Michigan International Speedway.
The race will be live on Fox Sports 1 at 6PM.
Friesen has led 16 laps at Michigan and has finished in the top ten twice.
“Heading into Michigan, we are looking to right the ship as far as the truck program goes,” Friesen said. “We have a good group of smart and hard working guys on the HFR team. Thanks to Chris Larsen and Halmar Internanational for all they do for our team and a big thanks to all of our Northeast fans for all of the support.”
Stewart has completed all 305 laps attempted at Michigan and has a 9.7 average finishing position. He’ll be utilizing truck #004, which is a brand-new Toyota Tundra.
The Halmar “ Racing To Beat Hunger” campaign is in full swing with the goal to raise awareness for hunger and to raise $200,000 for local food banks. Halmar is matching donations from fans, sponsors, etc. up to $100,000.
