“We are looking forward to this weekend at Kansas,” Friesen said. “It will be cool running races on back to back days. That’s something we certainly are used to doing with our dirt program, and the extra track time will hopefully be a positive for the HFR team. All of the guys have been working hard to get our Toyota Tundras fast, they even stayed out on the road after Texas and have been hammer down working hard in pretty unique circumstances at a shop in Kansas. Hopefully all the hard work pays off and we can keep rolling after our top five last week at Texas.”
Both races this weekend will be 201 miles (134 Laps) with Stage 1 ending on lap 30, Stage 2 ends on lap 60 and Stage 3 ends on 134.
The Halmar “ Racing To Beat Hunger” campaign is in full swing with the goal to raise awareness for hunger and to raise $200,000 for local food banks. Halmar is matching donations from fans, sponsors, etc. up to $100,000.
