Column By: JESSY MILLER / RPW – KANSAS CITY, KS – Brad Keselowski won his 30th cup race Saturday night at Kansas Speedway. During his post victory interview the Team Penske driver got a little choked up talking about the recent passing of Mike Mittler.
Amid the thrill of victory, @keselowski paid tribute to a member of the NASCAR community who recently passed.

Keselowski also praised the 2019 package saying it was designed for tracks like Kansas (meaning mile and a half tracks).
Since his first win, Keselowski has achieved quite a lot. Included but certainly not limited to- a Cup championship title in 2012, becoming the first driver to win the Brickyard for Captain Roger Penske, winning in Darlington, and scoring Penske’s 500th win in Las Vegas. Mind you the last three were part of a three weekend sweep in 2018.
Kansas was also Keselowski’s 3rd sun of the season. The other two wins coming in Atlanta and Martinsville. This past Martinsville’s spring race was Keselowski’s second win at the track, meaning he now has two Martinsville clocks. In fact, when he won the second one Keselowski told his daughter Scarlett they’d put it in her room since she loved the first one so much. Funnily enough, Scarlett wasn’t so much a fan of that one ;).
“…And so when we won, I told her, ‘Remember I was telling you if we won we get a new clock?’ And she said, ‘Well, where are we going to put it, Daddy?’ And I said, ‘Well, I was thinking right in your bedroom.” and she did not like that idea…” Keselowski had said.
