Story By: EVANS MILLS SPEEDWAY – EVANS MILLS, NY – On September 16th, Evans Mills Speedway will host their first ever 600 Micro Sprint Wingless asphalt invitational as part of the Oswego SBS Lighthouse Lanes series.
This will be a great opportunity for Micro Sprint racers from all over the Northeast to try their luck on the 3/8 mile paved oval at Evans Mills.
If the car is legal at your home track, it’s legal for the invitational. Cars can run asphalt tires but hard compound dirt tires have worked well in testing.
The purse is $250 to win, $50 to start. Transponders are recommended but not mandatory. Pit passes are $30, no car entry fees.
Gates open at 12:30, practice at 1:30 and racing starts at 3. It’s going to be a great afternoon of racing at Evans Mills!
