Column By: JESSY MILLER / RPW – DAYTON, OH – Ford has announced that in 2019, there will be a new build for their NASCAR Cup cars.
The company will be going away from the Fusion model, in exchange for the Mustang. Both Toyota and Chevy teams got upgrades over the past few years, which left Ford to do the same.

Several NASCAR drivers took to Twitter after the news was released.

The All-Star race is coming up next month and voting is now open. You can vote drivers into the race here.
There are drivers who are automatically entered into the race. Past winners of the All-Star event, last season’s champion as well as winners of a points race this season and last season. There’s also a chance for drivers to compete to get into the All-Star called the Open.
If a driver fails to enter automatically or win one of the two Open races, there is still a shot for them if they win the fan vote.
