Column By: JESSY MILLER / RPW – FORT WORTH, TX – There’s two off-week’s in the NASCAR season…Mother’s Day and Easter. This past week was the Easter off-week.
Fans were still pumped up over Clint Bowyer’s Martinsville win. Bowyer snapped his 190-race winless streak last Sunday. When Clint gave his victory lane interview, he was holding his son, Cash. He talked about how his son wanted a checkered flag and so he set out to get him one.
We were also blessed with this photo from nascarcasm on Twitter of Cash and Bowyer running toward each other on pit road.
Come on – we're only six races into the season and that's a little early for the photo of the damn year to already be out there. (@GettyImages) pic.twitter.com/K7SCsQW38Q

Speaking of nascarcasm, every Easter he does something called the “Peeps 400” where he basically sticks a bunch of peeps on a plate with driver numbers written on them and pops the plate in the microwave and the last peep not melted wins. Its always fun to look through and you can check out this year’s rendition here.
It’s Easter Sunday and at this point you’re probably good and tired of the family so be sure to check out the finest #NASCAR Easter tradition if you haven’t already – THE PEEPS 400 -> https://t.co/hN1Fxxpenh pic.twitter.com/SnU6xtTmOF
