Story By: RACE OF CHAMPIONS – CONCORD, NC – Jerico Performance Products has joined the Race of Champions as contingency partner for the 2018 season and present asphalt modified series racers with an additional $50 per event, while the Series champion will receive a $1,000 Jerico Performance Products certificate as part of the Series Championship awards.
At each race during the 2018 season the Jerico Performance Products “Jammin’ Gears” Award of $50 will be presented to the competitor who passes the most cars during the qualifying race and feature events. In the event of a tie in this category, the tie will be broken by which competitor posted the fastest qualifying time during group time trials.
“This is an exciting opportunity for Jerico Performance Products to reward competitors who rely on our products with a little extra reward each night based on their performance,” stated Jody Rawson, General Manager with Jerico Performance Products. “We also wanted to recognize the Series champion with a special award and recognize their accomplishments for a special season that led them to the series title.”

The Race of Champions Asphalt Modified Series will kick off at Lancaster National Speedway on Saturday, May 12, 2018 and culminates with the running of the 68th Annual Race of Champions 250, the Northeast’s marquee event at Lake Erie Speedway in North East, Pa., on Saturday, September 29, 2018.
