New Hampshire Motor Speedway returns to NASCAR Chase Playoffs in September 2027
COLUMN BY: Stephen Durham / RACE PRO WEEKLY – LOUDON, NH – All throughout this week, NASCAR has been gradually rolling out the 2027 schedule for it’s top three national series. We can add another track to that list, New Hampshire Motor Speedway, for the September 25-26th, 2027, when the NASCAR CUP Series returns along with the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series that weekend.
New Hampshire Motor Speedway returns to the NASCAR Chase Playoffs once again, previously in the playoffs in 2025, a return for the first time since 2017.
A fan favorite time of the year, with the cool-crisp temperatures late September as we welcome fall in New England each and every September.
The NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, and NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour returns to the ‘Magic Mile’ in just over two weeks, August 22nd-23rd, where both series will look to find some ‘magic’ that weekend heading into The Chase.
The defending winner from 2025 in the NASCAR Cup Series is Ryan Blaney, who will look to track down Denny Hamlin for the number one spot in the playoffs.
The defending winner from 2025 in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series is the rising NASCAR Cup Series talented driver of Corey Heim.
