RPW Exclusive: Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series Preview with last years Top 5 Drivers: Austin Beers
RPW Exclusive Column By: Stephen Durham / RPW – BOSTON, MA – We are just days away from the first race of the season for Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series to kick-off their 13th season. As we head into the new season, we talk with the series top 5 drivers from 2025 and how they are feeling heading into the new season. Finishing 5th last season with the Monaco Modifieds was Austin Beers.
Beers had a strong season in 2025 with the Monaco Modifieds, picking up his first career win with the Monaco Modifieds at Thunder Road. Beers finished the 2025 season with two top 5s and five top 10 finishes. This is how Beers is feeling heading into the 2026 season.
Q: Overall thoughts on 2025, had a strong season with the Monaco Tour with the one win at Thunder Road?
Austin Beers: “It was a great season, the win at Thunder Road was huge for us. It felt good to have that success with the Jensen Team and get our first Tri-Track win as a team. We have some things we need to work on at certain tracks but our notebook is definitely thicker.”
Q:Anything new in 2026 for you and your team?
Austin Beers: “Nothing new really, just that we will not be full time and hopefully have some new partners coming in board for the season!”
Q: You and your team’s expectations for 2026 with the Monaco Tour?
Austin Beers: “We are aiming for consistency and hopefully a couple more wins. Like I said, that first one felt great at Thunder Road but I don’t see why we couldn’t knock off a few more in ‘26!”
Q: What event on the series schedule are you looking forward to most?
Austin Beers: “I’m really looking forward to Star. We were really fast there last year. Qualified 3rd and blew up before the heat so I’m excited to get back there and compete!”
Q:Heading into this season, who in the series should people be watching?
Austin Beers: Keep an eye on Brett Meservey for sure. He was really fast last year!
Q: Who would you predict would be the series champion in 2026?
Austin Beers: “I think if he runs full time it will be either Ronnie Williams or Jake Johnson.”
The Monaco Modifieds Tri-Track Series kicks-off their 2026 season at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park Saturday April 11th, as part of the Icebreaker 2026 weekend. The Monaco Modified race will be broadcasted live on North East Short Track Network(NESTN).
