Corey Heim Grabs the Pole at New Hampshire Motor Speedway for NASCAR Playoff Cutoff Race

Column By: Stephen Durham / RPW – LOUDON, NH – It was once again “Heim Time” in qualifying at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, grabbing the pole from Chandler Smith for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race. Heim and Chandler Smith will make up the front row for the EJP 175 Saturday afternoon.

Green flag for the EJP 175 will be at 12PM Saturday afternoon. This will be a playoff cutoff race for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, where the playoff field will be reduced to 8.

Chandler Smith currently 1oth in the standings, sitting 24 points outside the cutoff line behind Rajah Caruth. Jake Garcia sits currently 9th in the standings, 14 points behind Rajah Caruth. Garcia will roll from 9th in the EJP 175.

Kaden Honeycutt, racing for Halmar Friesen Racing, sits 7th in the championship standings, 18 points above the cutoff line. Honeycutt will roll from 15th.
