Schedule Set for Asphalt Racing’s Great Celebration at Lake Erie Speedway, “The Greatest Tradition in Modified Racing”
Information By: RACE OF CHAMPIONS MEDIA – NORTH EAST, PA –
The final countdown is on for “The Greatest Tradition in Modified Racing” at Lake Erie Speedway in North East, Pennsylvania. Fans and teams alike are gearing up for one of the biggest weekends in the history of short track racing, Friday through Sunday, September 12–14, 2025.
The centerpiece of the weekend will be the Race of Champions Modified Series 250, taking place on Saturday, September 13, a 250-lap battle paying $15,000-to-win.
This year’s edition is more than just a race—it’s a true celebration of the sport. All seven Race of Champions “Family of Series” will compete during the weekend, with several divisions racing twice due to earlier rainouts this spring. The WNY Mighty TQ Midgets will also join the program, adding even more excitement to the region’s premier asphalt racing weekend.
“This is the biggest weekend we’ve ever had for the Race of Champions at Lake Erie Speedway,” stated Race of Champions management. “It’s the kind of event that brings everyone together—drivers, teams, and fans—for a celebration of racing history and tradition.”
