“The Transitowne 100” To Bring Thunder In The Hills At Holland Speedway
Story By: RACE OF CHAMPIONS – HOLLAND, NY – The Race of Champions Modified Series is set to make its highly anticipated return to the high banks of Holland International Speedway this Saturday, July 26, for the only stop of the season at the historic Western New York oval.
Headlining the night will be “The Transitowne 100,” a 100-lap showdown sure to deliver the trademark intensity fans have come to expect from the Series.
Last year, hometown favorite Jake Lutz of Hamburg, N.Y., broke through with a signature victory at Holland, showcasing poise beyond his years.
“Holland is a challenge—it’s tough on tires,” shared Lutz. “We had a great car last year and managed things well. The competition will be fierce again this weekend, but we’re excited for the opportunity to try and repeat.”
In addition to the Modifieds, the Race of Champions Street Stock Series, FOAR SCORE Four Cylinder Dash Series, and the WNY Mighty TQ Midgets will all be in action, delivering a full night of short track thrills.
Fans are invited to enjoy a pre-race Happy Hour from 4:30 to 6:00 pm, setting the tone for an electric evening of racing.
