RPW Exclusive: Monaco Tri-Track Season Power Rankings At The End Of June

Column By: STEPHEN DURHAM / RPW – DERRY. NH – It is the final week of June, another two races are in the books for the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series. Mother Nature has turned up the heat here in the latter half of June, just in time for Seekonk recently and for Stafford coming up in July.
After Ron Silk swept the first two races of the season at Thompson, there were two different winners at Thunder Road and White Mountain Motorsports Park. Austin Beers picked up his first career win at Thunder Road, followed up by Jake Johnson defending his 2024 White Mountain Motorsports Park win.
As we head into Seekonk this week, the top 6 in the championship standings are separated by 30 points. Pasteryak has cracked the top 5 in the power rankings, finishing in the top 10 in all four races. The championship points leader is Jon McKennedy, as he had a pair of top 5s over the last month.
Here is the RaceProWeekly power rankings as the series heads to Stafford next month.
- Jon McKennedy (previous rank: 4):
McKennedy has appeared to be the one to beat through the first four races of the season. McKennedy has finished in the top 5 in all four races so far this season. He controls the championship standings currently by 20 points over Austin Beers. McKennedy had a runner-up finish behind Matt Hirschman in the November race at Seekonk. The 2014 Monaco Modified Champion will look to increase his championship lead as we head deeper into summer. - Jake Johnson (previous: 2):
Jake Johnson remains hot, and defended his 2024 White Mountain Motorsports Park. He now finds himself fifth in the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series championship. Johnson, out of Rehoboth, as he will l get a chance to defend his hometown track. Johnson struggled in 2024 at Seekonk and Stafford, but had a top 10 finish at both tracks back in 2023. - Austin Beers (previous rank: NR):
It was only a matter of time until Austin Beers would find victory lane with Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series. He grabbed the win at Thunder Road in Vermont over Matt Swanson. Beers now sits 2nd in the championship standings, 20 points behind McKennedy. Beers will be in the hunt to chip away at that championship lead. Beers had a top 5 and a top 10 at Seekonk in 2024. In 2025, Beers has two top 5s, and three top 10s so far on the season. - Stephen Kopcik (previous rank: 5):
After a rough first race of the season at Thompson for Kopcik, he has shown speed since. Three consecutive top 5s as the Monaco Modifieds head into Seekonk. Kopcik came away with back-to-back 5th place finishes at Thunder Road and White Mountain Motorsports Park. Kopcik currently sits tied for 5th in the championship standings with Jake Johnson. Kopcik had a 3rd place finish in the fall race at Seekonk, but struggled earlier in the season at Seekonk and Stafford. - Chris Pasteryak (previous: NR):
It has been an impressive start to the season for Pasteryak. Pasteryak, along with McKennedy has yet to finish outside of the top 10 in 2025. Pasteryak currently sits 3rd in the championship standings, 2 points behind Beers, and 22 points behind McKennedy. Pasteryak has not won with the Monaco Modifieds since 2015 at Lee USA Speedway. Keep an eye on this veteran, as he will look to make a run for a podium finish as we head through the middle of the season.
On the Radar:
Woody Pitkat: It was a quiet couple of races for the 2024 championship runner-up. Pitkat came away with a top 10 at Thunder Road, but struggled at White Mountain Motorsports Park. Pitkat knows how to get it done at Stafford, his former home track, and had a top 5 finish back in 2023. Keep an eye on the veteran to regain momentum into the heart of summer.
Matt Hirschman: The defending 2025 Monaco Modified champion missed Thunder Road to himself and family, falling ill leading up to the race weekend. Hirschman never skipped a beat though, coming back with the series to White Mountain Motorsports Park, coming away with a top 5 finish. Hirschman will be a heavy favorite heading to Seekonk and Stafford, both places that he won at in 2024.
The Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series heads to Massachusetts this week at Seekonk for Monaco Modified Midweek Madness. This is the series’ 5th race of the 12 race schedule for 2025. Racing starts at 6:30PM at Seekonk Speedway, on Wednesday June 25th. After Seekonk, the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series heads to Stafford Speedway on July 16th for the GAF Roofing Modified Masters.
