Race Of Champions ‘Family Of Series’ Set To Jump Back Into Action Saturday At Wyoming Co. Int’l

Story By: RACE OF CHAMPIONS – PERRY, NY – The Race of Champions “Family of Series” returns to action this Saturday, May 24, at Wyoming County International Speedway – “The Bullring” in Perry, N.Y., as several divisions begin or continue their 2025 championship campaigns.
Headlining the night is the Race of Champions Sportsman Modified Series, which will officially open its 2025 season on the fast 1/3-mile oval. The series will be led by defending champion Kevin Timmerman of Ontario, N.Y., who is eager to get things rolling.
“We are looking forward to getting the Series season going,” stated Timmerman. “The competition is always challenging with the Race of Champions Series, and we are looking forward to Saturday afternoon at The Bullring. It should be an exciting race and a great season.”
Also making their 2025 debut on Saturday are the Race of Champions Street Stock Series—defended by 2024 champion Nik Welshans of West Seneca, N.Y.—and the Race of Champions FOAR SCORE Four Cylinder Dash Series, which opened its season on May 10 at Chemung Speedrome with Gene Purvis of Elmira, N.Y. capturing the win.
