Chemung Speedrome To Host Race Of Champions 75 For Mod Series This Saturday

Story By: RACE OF CHAMPIONS – CHEMUNG, NY – The Race of Champions Modified Series heads to Chemung Speedrome this Saturday, May 10, for the “Race of Champions 75” at the Southern Tier oval, as part of a thrilling night of short track racing.
Austin Beers (Northampton, PA) and Lou Strohl (Palmerton, PA) enter the event tied in the championship point standings after the season’s first race. Beers, the 2021 Series Champion, looks to continue his strong start, while Strohl is contending for the 2025 Rookie-of-the-Year title.
Every Race of Champions Modified Series event plays a critical role in determining the season’s champion—and Chemung is no exception. The series format ensures that “Every Lap Counts,” emphasizing consistent speed and performance from green flag to checkered.
Chemung Speedrome has long been a pivotal venue in the championship race, known for rewarding the best of the best. Past standout performances from Matt Hirschman (Northampton, PA), Patrick Emerling (Orchard Park, NY), Austin Beers, and recent front-runner Zane Zeiner (Bath, PA) have all helped shape title runs. Saturday night promises another chapter in that legacy.
Joining the Modifieds will be the Race of Champions FOAR SCORE Four Cylinder Dash Series, launching its 2025 season at Chemung with a 25-lap feature.
Qualifying for the Race of Champions 75 and supporting divisions begins at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 10. Several of Chemung’s weekly racing divisions will also be in action, rounding out a packed night of competition.
