Carson Brown Wins Super Late Model Main At New Smyrna After William Sawalich’s DQ’d

Information By: NEW SMYRNA SPEEDWAY – NEW SMYRNA BEACH, FL – The 2025 World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing got underway on Friday night at New Smyrna Speedway.

When the checkered flag flew, it was William Sawalich crossing the finish line first ahead of Carson Brown and Cole Butcher, who led a good portion of the race. Unfortunately, Sawalich’s no. 62 didn’t pass post-race tech (front tread width) and was disqualified.

Brown was declared the winner of the first Super Late Model feature of the Series for this season. Butcher was second with Derek Griffith, George Phillips and Conner Jones completing the top five.
