Oswego Speedway To Host Four-Race GTR Super Stock Mini Series During 2025 Season

Story By: CAMDEN PROUD / OSWEGO SPEEDWAY – OSWEGO, NY – Oswego Speedway is thrilled to announce the return of a Super Stock championship for the first time in over two decades, with a brand-new four-race GTR Promotions Super Stock Mini Series set for the 2025 race season.

This series will crown an Oswego Speedway Super Stock Champion for the first time since 2004.

“We’re beyond excited to bring the Super Stock division back to Oswego Speedway after 20 years,” said Jody London of GTR Promotions. “A huge thank you to the Torrese family, Chuck Handley, and everyone at Oswego Speedway for their support in making this series a reality for 2025.”

The action kicks off on Saturday, June 14, with an opening 25-lap feature. The series heats up on Saturday, August 2, with an exciting Twin 20-lap format offering double points, giving racers the opportunity to gain valuable ground in the standings heading into Classic Weekend.

The championship series will culminate on Friday, August 29, as competitors will battle through three rounds leading into the grand finale: the Midstate Basement Authorities DLM Super Stock Dave London Memorial XVII, a 50-lap points championship race on Bud Classic Weekend 69.

Details regarding the point fund, purse, and final points format will be announced at a later date. In the meantime, preliminary rules for all competitors are now available on the GTR Promotions website.

Adding to the prestige of this series, qualifiers for the Dave London Memorial, Sport Mod Xtra Money Race and the New York State Compact Championship will be held at numerous tracks throughout the northeast, including the Lancaster Motorplex, Chemung Speedrome, Evergreen Raceway, and more.

2025 GTR SUPER STOCK MINI SERIES SCHEDULE:
