Story By: JODY LONDON / GTR PROMOTIONS – ROCHESTER, NY – Registration for the Midstate Basement Authorities Dave London Memorial XVI Super Stock Race and the DCR Performance XMR Sportsman Modified event are now open.
Many teams from throughout the northeast have been registering for these two big shows taking place at Oswego Speedway’s annual end of the year Classic Weekend.
“I always enjoy opening registration for these events, you never know who’s going to register” stated event promoter Jody London.
Though the Super Stocks and Sportsman registration is open, the New York Compact Championship registration won’t open up until Monday, June 24, at 8pm.
“This year we wanted to offset the registration dates so we can play a little bit of catching up on the social media end” added London.
The Dave London Memorial XVI Super Stock Race will see a staggering $4,000 to win with $450 to start the event. The DCR Performance XMR Sportsman Modified race will once again be $4,000 to win and $400 to start.
Also taking place is the New York State Compact Championship paying $1,000 to win and $150 to start.
These are some of the biggest purses in New York that will be on the line at Oswego Speedway during the Labor Day weekend event.
