Muldoon Motorsports Enjoyed A Successful 2022 Season With the 350 SMAC Tour
Story By: JAMES RUSAW / 350 SMAC – DERRY, NH – Let’s take a look at the second place team in SMAC points for 2022 – Muldoon Motorsports – the #50 car.
Starting the season it was Matt Caprara in the 50..followed by veteran Tommy Tombarello then finishing the season strong with Dave Helliwell.
It is an extreme challenge having multiple drivers – how you move the pedals…driving style etc. that go into it.
With just 90 points out of a championship the Mike & Michael Muldoon team established they could find a way to win in year 1 of making two new cars for the SMAC tour.
Year 2 will find Dave Helliwell slated to return to run for a title in one of the cars.
Rookie of the Year Matt Caprara (who spent the rest of the year in the 15 car) led laps at Hudson and had a fine 2nd in Ohio.
Matt is slated to drive his father owned #98 purple Super acquired late this year.
Mike will be leasing out a car next season with a driver TBA.
Look for them to once again be a contender in 2023 🏁 We may have to have a “Talking SMAC” award just for Mike.
