NYIRP At Lancaster Speedway’s Stock Car Awards Banquet For 2021 Postponed To Spring ‘22

Story By: STEVEN PETTY / NYIRP AT LANCASTER – LANCASTER, NY – Due to scheduling conflicts, the 2021 Stock Car Awards Banquet for New York International Raceway Park at Lancaster Speedway and Dragway (NYIRP) will be postponed until the Spring of 2022.

“All awards and point fund monies will be handed out in the Spring of 2022 at our Stock Car Awards/Registration Party”, comments Brian, a spokesman from the stock car management team. The Registration Party will be scheduled in the month of April of 2022. More details will be released after the holidays.

The 2022 stock car scheduled for NYIRP will feature eleven race dates, including the 33rd and 34th edition of the US Open for tour-type Modifieds, plus the New York Super Stock Series (NYSS) and the Small Block Super Modified Championship Series, as well as Late Models, Sportsman, Street Stocks, 4 Cylinders, and the Jerry Gradl Motors NYPA TQ Midgets throughout the season. “We have worked hard on the schedule, and we cannot wait to get the 2022 stock car season underway. The schedule is jammed-packed, and we cannot wait to see our great race fans back in the stands,” says track ownership.

There will be improvements and upgrades for the stock car program in time for the 2022 season. Gate opening times and scheduled race times will be released in the coming weeks.
