This event holds significance to the Sprakers, NY driver.
“This is a big race for us,” Friesen said. “It’s our 100th truck series start and we’re planning to make the most of it. We’ve had some challenges at Kansas Speedway in the past with two crashes but we’ve always had fast trucks.”
Friesen, who currently ranks sixth in Truck Series points, is looking to break into the win column for the third time in his career.
“We’ll be aiming to run up front and be in a position to win at the end of 134 laps Saturday,” he said. “We have to thank Halmar and all of our fans for making our 100th start possible. We’ve had a tremendous streak of momentum in our Dirt Modified program after our sweep at Bristol and win at Delaware International on Tuesday. We’re looking to bring the winning momentum with us to Kansas!”
