Stewart Friesen Looking To Continue Momentum Swing With Good Finish In Atlanta Saturday
Story By: CHAD OFIARA / HALMAR FRIESEN RACING – STATESVILLE, NC – Stewart Friesen and the Halmar Friesen Racing #52 Toyota Tundra are set to run in “Hot-Lanta” this Saturday.
Friesen will be starting fourth on Saturday as there is no qualifying. The race will be live on FS1
at 2:30 EST.
Stewart has completed all 530 laps he’s attempted at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
“Coming off of a top five at Las Vegas last time out, we are ready to get to Atlanta,” Friesen said. “Momentum is so important and we would certainly like to keep the solid runs and finishes going. But, as always, we are hungry for a win.”
Stewart is currently sixth in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Standings.
“Our Halmar International Toyota’s are fast,” he said. “I have to thank the whole team for the hard work they put in and thank you to Chris Larsen and Halmar for all they do. We put out some very exciting news this week and it wouldn’t be possible without them and many other people that get us out here racing as much as we do.”
Stage one ends on lap 30. Stage 2 ends on lap 60 and stage 3 ends on lap 130. The No.52 team will work out of pit stall number 23, which is located at the start/finish line.
