RPW Column: Jake Hines Is Set To Race On Stafford Motor Speedway’s Big Track In ’21

Column By: BRITTANY NUTILE / RPW – The 2021 season will be Jake Hines’ first year on the full track at Stafford Speedway.

Jake use to race on the smaller speedway as part of the Wild Thing Karts division.

The young North Haven, CT driver started racing karts and has worked his way up to this point now. In 2021, fans will find him in the SK Light division.

“I would like to win a race and finish in the top of the pack every week,” Hines said.  “I just want to make sure I keep my nose clean week in and week out.”

How did things get rolling in this sport for Hines?

“Racing, for me, started with my grandfather,” he said.  “He raced Modifieds.  Once I was old enough, with help from my dad and Frank Rocco, I got to drive my first go kart.”
