Ty Majeski Beats Josh Berry To Win Late Model 225 At Florence With Motor Borrowed From JR Motorsports

Information By: FLORENCE MOTOR SPEEDWAY – FLORENCE, SC – Saturday night was a huge night for Ty Majeski and Chad Bryant Racing.
Majeski, in his first start for the team, went to Florence Motor Speedway for the South Carolina 400 Charlie Powell Memorial Late Model Stock Car 225-lap feature and came away victorious.
Majeski took the lead from JR Motorsports’ late model ace Josh Berry with 25 laps to go in the inaugural race and never relinquished the top spot.
Berry couldn’t hold of Mejeski in the closing laps and had to settle for the runner-up position. Sam Yarborough finished third. Lee Pullian came home fourth and Nolan Pope rounded out the top five.
What made the pass for the win and the victory so gratifying for the team is who they had to get around for the lead.
“A huge thank you to JR Motorsports who were kind enough to let us borrow an engine after we had mechanical issues at the track on Friday,” a Bryan Racing team spokesman said. “It was a lot of fun and hard racing between two of the best in Late Models.”
