Story By: HALMAR FRIESEN RACING – STATESVILLE, NC – Heading into this weekend’s NASCAR Truck Series action at Atlanta Motor Speedway, Stewart Friesen is ready to get back behind the wheel while promoting a great cause.
The Halmar “ Racing To Beat Hunger” campaign is in full swing with the goal to raise awareness for hunger and to raise $200,000 for food banks. Halmar will accomplish this with a special paint scheme on the #52 truck as well as matching donations from fans, sponsors, etc. up to $100,000.
“Big thank you to Halmar for all the support,” Friesen said. “It’s been a building process going out on our own with the new team , but we have been putting in a lot of hard work and we are not done yet. We have a lot of great product sponsors and a lot of support from our fans in the northeast as well as new fans we have made across the country and Canada. I’m really looking forward to getting to Atlanta.”
