Story By: CAMDEN PROUD / LIGHTHOUSE LANES SBS SERIES – OSWEGO, NY – In just two more days, a field of some of the best drivers in Oswego Speedway’s Pathfinder Bank SBS division will converge in ‘Friday Night Lights’ with the Lighthouse Lanes SBS Series at Williamson, NY’s Spencer Speedway this Friday, June 29.
The Friday special is the second event on the 2018 touring schedule and sets up a double header Small Block Super weekend in Central New York ahead of the Independence 35 at Oswego Speedway on Saturday.
“We are looking forward to seeing everyone at Spencer Speedway Friday night to kickoff what should be a pretty exciting weekend of Small Block Super action,” said Lighthouse Lanes SBS Series president Mike Bruce. “We expect a solid field of cars, great racing, and great weather and hope everyone will come support it. Thanks again to John White and the staff at Spencer.”
At least 14 Small Block Supermodifieds are expected on Friday evening making for two 10-lap heats of seven cars plus the 30-lap main event with the possibility of more cars showing up on race day.
Eight out of the fourteen drivers that will be in attendance have all won at least one or more main events at the Oswego Speedway throughout the course of their careers.
