Story By: HALMAR RACING – NANUET, NY – Directly following Charlotte Motor Speedway’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race on Friday, Stewart Friesen will head to the Bristol Motor Speedway for the Short Track US Nationals.
Friesen will drive the no. 112 Super Late Model. His Late Model mentor, multi-time Snowball Derby winner Gary Balough, famously drove the no. 112 to hundreds of wins throughout his career.
The legacy of the 112 lives on through Friesen and his partnership with Balough. The pair managed a 2nd place finish at Nashville, Friesen’s first ever Super Late Model race.
The event at Bristol takes place this Saturday and Sunday, May 19th & 20th.
