Someone who would love to get a win at Thompson and have a better Icebreaker weekend this year would be Doug Coby. Last year at the Icebreaker Coby finished 31st after being in an accident within the first few laps of the race. Coby is happy to be back in New England and at Thompson, a track that everyone loves and can get back to business as usual after racing at Myrtle Beach. His goals for today and the season is to get a top 5 and head to Stafford where they do fairly well at and to be in the hunt to win another championship.
Justin Bonsignore is looking to break a winless streak on the Whelen Modified Tour. He is looking forward to getting a good start to the season. Bonsignore is starting the season out with a new chassis LFR and new crew chief, Ryan Stone. His goal for Saturday going into practice was see how the car handles and try to tune it up and go from there and see how it plays out. Bonsignore is looking to win and win a few times in the NWMT series this season and to continue to be in the hunt for the championship.
