Story By: CAMDEN PROUD / OSWEGO SPEEDWAY – OSWEGO, NY – As part of the continuation of the longstanding partnership between Oswego Speedway and the world’s leader in recycled aluminum, the Novelis ‘Fan Can Chase’ will return to the speedway with three dates in 2018.
Throughout 2017, 116,000 cans were collected through three events, pushing the all-time can count at Oswego Speedway to over 1.4 million in a joint effort with Novelis and Scriba Bottle and Can. Positions two or three in the Fan Can Chase will have the opportunity to pick from the remaining two prizes. Fans representing households four through twelve in the running will all receive 2018 general admission grandstands passes for two as part the 62nd running of Budweiser International Classic Weekend on September 1 and 2.
The dates for the Novelis Fan Chase in 2018 include ‘Opening Night’ on Saturday, May 26 featuring the Jim Shampine Memorial Twin 50’s and Tony White Memorial 35.
