Story By: CAMDEN PROUD / 350 SMAC – OSWEGO, NY – 350 SMAC, the northeast’s newest pavement touring series, is set to take part in the Syracuse Motorsports Expo in the Center of Progress at the New York State Fairgrounds this Saturday and Sunday, March 10 and 11.
As part of the expo, series race advocate John Burke will have his No. 01 Muldoon Chassis 350 Supermodified on display each day from 10am to 8pm on Saturday and again from 11am to 4pm on Sunday. The 350 Supermodifieds will return to Central New York for a Classic Weekend appearance at Oswego Speedway on Sunday, September 2.
“I’m excited to get the new graphics all lettered up on my car and bring it out to the Syracuse Motorsports Expo this weekend,” Burke said. “I thought it was important to have one of our cars on display ahead of our big event at Oswego this September as well as to have the opportunity to interact with some of our drivers and fans from Central New York. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone this weekend.”
The 2018 touring series that is the 350 Supermodified Atlantic Charter hits the pavement after nearly ten years in the works with the goal of bringing northeast 350 Supermodified racing to New England, New York, and beyond. The North Atlantic charter will expose drivers both new and experienced to a variety of East Coast race tracks.
In addition to the event at Oswego, at least two more events are in the works for 350 SMAC’s inaugural campaign.
