Story By: DAN KAPUSCINSKI / TEAM TAPOUT RACING – OSWEGO, NY – Karting and DIRTcar Sportsman standout Tyler Thompson of Fulton, NY is traveling to Scarborough, ME this weekend to take part in the 10th annual DT100 for Make-A-Wish inside the Maine Indoor Karting facility on Saturday, March 3.
Known as northern New England’s largest indoor charity karting race, the DT100 features over 100 of short track racing’s biggest stars as they face off against their race fans in equally prepared Sodi racing go-karts.
Among those competing in the event are NASCAR Modified stars Eddie MacDonald, Andy Seuss and Jason Myers, as well as Supermodified and midget ace, Joey Payne.
The DT100 will reach over $250,000 in total donations to the Make-A-Wish Foundation in this, their 10th and final year as an event.
“It is an honor to have been invited to this event,” said Tyler Thompson. “I look forward to being shoulder to shoulder with some of the biggest stars in our sport as we support a great cause in the Make-A-Wish Foundation.”
