Story By: DAVE BUCHANAN / LANCASTER SPEEDWAY – LANCASTER, NY – Lancaster National Speedway and New Era Cap Co., Inc. two iconic businesses of Western New York, have teamed up to provide fans and teams with their internationally known logos on headwear.
New Era, the official cap company of the National Football League, Major League Baseball and NASCAR, is creating exclusive headwear for WNY’s Premier Motorsports Facility. Beginning this season, several varieties of caps with the track logo will be available for sale at the track and online.
“This relationship just furthers what is going on with and the resurgence of Lancaster National Speedway & Dragway,” said Tim Packman, Track President. “New Era is seen on Super Bowl, World Series and Daytona 500 champions. Now, our fans and race teams can wear what they wear with our track logo on the caps.
“We can’t thank New Era enough for wanting to work with us in creating their excellent product. The best part is that each cap will be made right here in the WNY area, which is also right where our champions are made.”
In addition to LNS&D headwear, caps of NASCAR drivers and teams will also be available for purchase at the track’s merchandise stand.

The family-friendly track has hosted some great names in motorsports – AJ Foyt and Jim Hurtubise to Jim Oddy and Melanie Salemi”, says Billy Rieck, who oversees the product development for motorsports and this collection at New Era Cap. “This relationship continues to show the growth of New Era Cap, not only on a global scale but also its support of great local businesses.”
